His daughter Maryam’s wedding in Karachi this past week turned into a glamorous affair, attended by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Mahira Khan, Wahaj Ali, and Fawad Khan.
For Maryam’s nikkah, she wore the iconic outfit originally donned by Mahira Khan in Ho Man Jahaan and designed by Umar Sayeed, transforming a beloved cinematic look into a deeply personal bridal moment.
A particularly heartwarming highlight was Mahira Khan, who shares a close bond with the bride and her father – also re-wore her own wedding walima outfit, reimagined as a saari by Bunto Kazmi, adding a deeply personal touch to the festivities.
