How They Got Here: The Rays swept the Yankees in the divisional round (3-0), before knocking off the Guardians in six games in the ALCS (4-2). The Brewers beat the Padres in four games in the divisional round (3-1), before sweeping the defending champion Dodgers in the NLCS (4-0).

The two squads faced off three times this year, with the Brewers winning the regular-season series 2-1. The Brewers are looking to win their first-ever MLB title. They last made it to the World Series in 1982, falling to the Cardinals in seven games. However, that was so long ago that Milwaukee was an American League team. As for the Rays, they lost to the Dodgers in the 2020 Fall Classic (4-2) and lost to the Phillies in the World Series in 2008 (4-1). What does that mean?
