Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley recently shared the one holiday tradition their kids wait for.
In a talk with PEOPLE magazine about their partnership with HomeGoods for the company’s annual Deck the Everything Day, both sisters revealed one particular tradition their children love in the holiday season.
For those unaware, Tamera is the mother of two kids, a daughter Ariah, 10, and son Aden, 13, whom she welcomed with her husband Adam Housely.
She told the outlet that the kids love “spending time together,” especially playing games together.
Agreeing with her sister, Tia, who welcomed her 14-year-old son, Cree, and 7-year-old daughter, Cairo, with ex-husband Cory Hardrict, revealed that the kids love to play cornhole together.
“We introduced that to the kids, and they absolutely love it. So, when they’re together, they always love to do some sort of game outside. That has become a tradition,” the Sister, Sister star noted.
Moving Forward, both siblings called themselves “early decorators” who get excited when it comes to decorating the house and spending quality time together as a family.
Tamara said, “Now that we’re moms and we’re our own business women, we have our own itineraries. And this one right here, she is forever busy. So, I love when the holidays roll around, because I know I’m going to see her.”
“That’s what I love about the holidays. It’s time when we all can be still and focus on what really matters. Which is family and creating memories. I think what’s so beautiful is now that we’re older, it’s not just you and I. It’s our children, it’s our kids,” Tia quipped.
