Seth Rogen recently lifted the curtain on his successful marriage to his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen.
For those unaware, Seth and Lauren first crossed paths through their mutual friends during a birthday party in 2005. Years later, in 2010, they got engaged and ended up getting married on October 2, 2011, at a vineyard in Sonoma County, California. The couple has been living child-free by choice.
The 44-year-old Canadian actor and comedian gave an interview to The New York Times to promote his dark comedy film The Invite, which is about a married couple whose marriage is crumbling.
While reflecting on the forthcoming film’s storyline, the conversation soon turned to his real marital life with Lauren, and he said, “People really bring their own personal stuff into those definitions.”
“I remember feeling like I could really confidently speak about what a very good relationship was like — one that had been good for a very long time,” the Good Fortune star added.
He stated that a relationship becomes successful and healthy when a couple behaves nicely with one another, “loves each other and who goes out of their way to excuse the other person rather than to find things that they hate about the other person.”
It is pertinent to mention that The Invite centres around Joe (Seth Rogen) and Angela’s (Olivia Wilde) marriage, which “is on thin ice,” and things get worse “when they invite their enigmatic upstairs neighbors for a dinner party, the night spirals into unexpected places.”
The Invite is scheduled to be released in select theatres in the United States on June 26, 2026, ahead of its wide release on July 10, 2026.
