Lili Reinhart’s time as Betty Cooper has taught her many things that come in handy now.
Lili played Betty in seven seasons of Riverdale. The show was known for its never-ending soap-like twists, giving the actors plenty of different experiences in the same show.
Appearing on the Monday, Nov. 24 episode of Live! With Kelly and Mark, Lili joined host Mark Consuelos in reminiscing over their time spent filming the show, in which Mark played Veronica’s scheming dad, Hiram Lodge.
She gushed, “I think it was everything. I was lucky enough to be on a show that really, everything one could do in a show, I did on that show. Every genre, every plot…”
The Look Both Ways star continued, “I really think, you know, it’s rare to be on a show that doesn’t really stick to one thing. We just kept on going. So I find that the projects that I do now, whatever it may be, there’s some level of what I’m doing now that I did on that show.”
She described the show as “a perfect runway,” for the roles she’s had since.
“I’m appreciative of that for the rest of my career,” she said.
Reinhart is currently starring in Hal & Harper alongside Cooper Raiff and Mark Ruffalo.
